  Axiom America proudly announces the long
awaited Brother GT-782 WHITE INK Garment
Printer. The dual platen GT-782 presents a
unique solution for mid-to-high volume garment
printers who need the ability to print on dark
garments and have the ability to produce high
volume quantities. Because of its unique ability to
print multiple prints simultaneously, production
will increase as a result of reduced cycle times
and fast flexible downloading of new images.

  

 

  Building on the heritage of the Brother’s GT-541, the new GT-782 garment printer includes
  a NEW high-performance platform and boasts the following powerful features:

 1.Brother Ink: Like the GT-541, the new GT-782 uses Brother Print heads and ink
  cartridges specifically made for the GT-782 / GT-541 machine. Brother’s genuine
  white ink and ink cartridge system provides speed, superb output quality, easy
  maintenance and more economical operations.

 2.Dual Platens: Print two garments virtually simultaneously and independently – for
   maximum productivity and the potential for greater profitability for high volume decorators. 
   • Light Shirts = 50-60 shirts per hour.
   • 1 pass of white = 40-50 shirts per hour.
   • 2 passes of white = 30-40 shirts per hour.
  (The throughput is based on printing bi-directionally a 12” x 12” image and includes loading time)

 3.Extra Large Platen: The largest platen available for the GT-782 is 16” x 18”. 
   Two 16” x 18” platens can be printing at the same time.

 4.Brother Print Driver Software: Software can directly interface with most of the
   popular graphic applications such as Adobe Photoshop and CorelDRAW for seamless
   white ink prints.  NO separate and costly RIP (raster image processor) is required.
           

 More Important Details:

  • The approximate cost per shirt for light garments is $.30/ per print and $2.50
     to $4.00 for dark garments.
  • Garments can be cured either with a heat press with Teflon cover or through
     a conveyor dryer.
  • Pre-treatment is required.  The GT-782 does not pre-treat the garment. 
  • The GT-782 has a large footprint, and will not fit through a standard door.
    A double door or roll up door is required for delivery.
